Bellezza
Bellezza; Italian for beauty, loveliness. Certainly the rich look for the woman who craves opulence, gorgeousness, beauty from another era such as The Paduan Renaissance. Eleven handmade jewel-tone works of art play against the light. The colors? Starting at top right, next to the sterling silver, beaded edged lock, is a soft petal pink, swirled with arabesqued gold, next celadon, a green named in seventeenth century France, again with gold arabesque glazing, pale carnation pink with gold dotting, poppy, azure, orchid, mango-coral, onyx, bottle green, magenta, and deep violet.. colors you'd admire in a gorgeous stained glass cathedral window. And to enhance but not compete, look at the ornate sterling silver beads that remind me of the parapet of a medieval castle, each encased by beaded sterling spacers. All slipped onto a solid silver Chamilia bead clasp bracelet lovely enough to wear on its own. Remember, if you are clever and want to play with these beads..use two for small hoop earrings, or to slip on a white gold or sterling chain, just open the lock bead and slip off these beauties. Rearrange, and if you can't get them back the original way, just look up the photograph shown here on this website. Send me your wrist measurement to make sure you get the fit that you like...I love this bracelet and it fits well on my 7 1/4 wrist...if I tried, I could probably roll it off. And remember, I'm here to answer any and all questions. If you'd like several of these beads for a white gold or sterling chain you already own, just let me know.

Mezzo Soprano
Mezzo---middle---soprano...high voice...therefore a middle-high voice? Deeper, lush, rich, colorful, baroque, and earthy? Here we have gorgeous gold-encrusted jewel tones enriched with lush silver punctuated with ruby art glass spacers. Like its sister bracelet, Coloratura, Mezzo Soprano boasts lush, opulent colors but is more earthbound with extra sterling fashioned in a knights coat of arms? Scrolls, florals, rich and weighted with precious sterling are meant to please. One of the great pleasures of wearing bracelets is that the wearer can enjoy them herself. hold them up to the light, enjoy them in the sunlight and again by candlelight when the colors deepen and bewitch. Twelve solid sterling art beads are struck with color by six baroque art glass beads by Krissa of the Carolina in petal pink, turquoise, scarlet, violet, and mango. Note the gorgeous smooth bead-edged lock bead holding all this beauty in place over a sold silver smooth chain with a beaded clasp. For those who enjoy and appreciate the ancient and antique, Mezzo Soprano is an artpiece to wear and cherish. Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras, New Orleans on Fat Tuesday...last chance for merrymaking and feasting before Lent, but most of all: Color!. Celebration of opulence and abundance. Shown here, a little indulgence. When you don't know which color jewelry to use with what, wear this number; this colorful bracelet goes with everything: it beautifies beige, enriches grey, lights up navy, and enhances white, and blesses black. This number welcomes spring's new colors and carries you thru the delights of summer.
Because no photograph can give you true color, know that this bead clasp sterling Chamilia bracelet carries these romantic hues: cerulean, lettuce green, rich cream-laced yellow, Schiaparelli pink (Elsa Schiaparelli was the first designer to designate clothes as art!), sky-blue-pink, onyx, double vanilla, jasper stone, and malachite, Therefore, nature's stone gems combine with artisan-made glass art forms, mingled with ornate sterling beads, some swirled, some flowered, and bead-edged spacers to stand guard between the colorful elements. Some dear people are color phobic. I weep for them...color is a feast for the eyes, a Mardi Gras!

Silver Renaissance
I designed this beauty before the price of silver jumped to a new high. A very precious commodity indeed. Imagine the silversmiths in the Palace of the Borgias..would they have hammered precious silver into such textured designs and would Lucrezia have commissioned her ducal glass maker (Krissa of the Carolinas in disguise) to blow ornate goblets the color of the art glass beads shown here? Clear cerulean, opaque turquoise, iris, violet, poppy, rose, and pale green, linked together with serious chunks of silver. Silver lines and circling dots, swirls and beaded spacers weave through the glorious color while silver lock beads, and a bead clasp hold everything in place. . I love this bracelet; I feel powerful when I wear it. And, just for fun here is Orson Welles' quote about the Borgias:
"Remember what the fella said: in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

Wine Red Sea
When I've worn my own version of this bracelet, women grab my wrist. The merlot color, deep rose, gets to them but also the abundance of silver. This model is dedicated to all things marine: sea shells, fish, conch, cockels, a wonderful perfect shrimp, and I am going to add a seahorse for a true bouillabaisse,. Ruby rondells show bling, and gold painted glass and gold vermeil silver beads guard the treasure. I've even found some silver seaweed. The bracelet and bead clasp are sterling as are all the silver beads. The glass art beads I found in The Netherlands.

Cobalt Blue Dreams
A young newlywed commissioned this customized sterling bead-clasp bracelet for his bride. He requested including their two kittens, Annie and Midnight, and to use the colors that Maxfield Parrish, the new bride's favorite artist, favored. I found these cobalt shades,
sometimes called Parrish blue. Note the dark blue left center bead with white dots, a unique hand-blown piece from an artist in Estonia. Though it may look like it, no two glass beads are exactly alike even when the artists try to make them uniform...and note in center right, the twin kittens. Added is a pretty blue painted glass charm. Let me know if you'd like something similar with your own favorite touches. Just be prepared for perfect strangers asking you where you found your bracelet.
